We humans like to think that our thoughts are our own and that we have original thoughts all the time. But what if we told you that those thoughts and feelings have been planted by outside forces that want to lead you down a certain thought process. What if we told you that your thoughts about religion, politics, sex, race and many other ideologies you feel so strongly about have been slowly implanted day by day, year by year since your birth. Is patriotism dead? With the Presidential election coming in November, we here at FTR started to question our beliefs in regards to this very complicated subject. We invite our very first guest, Byron Rodgers. Byron is a n Iraq War veteran, he served 4 years active duty as a Marine and has witnessed first hand what our country is doing over seas. In order to get a deeper understanding on what patriotism is we ask him some very candid question in regards to his roll as a Marine serving in combat and if his views about his country have changed at all. Media has the ability to show us truths in an entertaining way. We recently watched a Netflix show called "Stranger Things". The premise of the show is about a boy who gets abducted by a creature and is taken to another dimension. His family and friends are then led on a series of adventures trying to rescue the lost boy. This show tackles various occult subject matters. It does an interesting job at blending the supernatural with the scientific. And that is what we discuss in our show today. We also discuss the many verifiable truths that are presented within the show such as the MK Ultra program.
